I’ve been using SoundCloud and Sonos for 8+ years with no real issues. Last week I was asked to reauthenticate which I have done and now a couple of DJs I follow I can no longer access their weekly sets through the Sonos app. I can always download the podcast and save locally but it is strange that it has only just happened. My system is all Sonos S1. FYI it is Markus Schulz - Global DJ Broadcast.

I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. But don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

I’ve switched to the SonoPhone app and have had zero issues..listen to SoundCloud several hours a day on it. I don’t bother with the Sonos app anymore. 


Thanks for the responses. I am wondering whether it is a soundcloud setting that the artist has setup. I can see DJ mixes from other DJs - just a little frustrating.
