Sonos2 app won't log me in

The app has limited functionality on my phone, I can access tv, music library and radio stations, but when I try to log in to change the priority from tv to Beam to play music for an extended period, ie for more than 2 songs, it switches back to tv, cutting the music off.

I click log in on my phone but it just sits there doing nothing, I can’t get past the log in screen. It worked fine on my previous phone, but hasn’t logged in once on my present one. I can’t even log in to update the app, which I had no problems doing on my pc.

Can someone help please?

Have you turned off the ‘autoplay’ on the TV’s input in the Sonos controller?

It’s the app, this type of thing happens from time to time and we just need to be patient while Sonos takes a year to fix the app. 🤣

The good news is that usually deleting and reinstalling the app will fix this kind of issue. If it doesn’t, you may need to contact Sonos support. Good luck.

Thanks for replying. Tried deleting and reinstalling, no luck. Tried the live chat on the support page, but no luck there either, he tried telling me it was the phone that was the problem…😫

Omg better buy a new phone 🤣

It IS a new phone. 😋
