Hello,

I have an HHP Omnibook laptop using windows 11 with the sonos (s2 controller) app installed.  I have tried everything in the articles that I have been reading from sharing the folder, turning off my firewall (windows firewall is the only one I have), using the ip address in the folder name, etc.

The music library that I am attempting to add is on the hard drive of this laptop.  I get the following error:  “sonos was unable to add the music folder reason:  unable to add the shared folder //scottnewlap/singles to your music library (1001).

If anyone knows of a fix, I would greatly appreciate it.  Have a great day.

Regards,

Scott

Since the PC app is in service mode, Sonos might have left a few methods for adding the library to your system in there that have been abolished. Be sure to follow this manual to ad the library: https://support.sonos.com/en/article/add-your-music-library-to-sonos
