Hello,

I was using Spotify with my Sonos speaker for some time and recently I gave Apple Music a try. Normally, when using Spotify service, when I request a song from Sonos Voice Control, it would first tell me what song is being played and then the reproduction would start. When I switched to Apple Music it doesn’t do that anymore. It just plays a chime indicating that the request has been received and then the song playback start.

My question is - is this a bug or feature? :D Is enunciating what is being played not available for Apple Music?

Looking into this, I’ve found that this isn’t a bug, but a feature that hasn’t been implemented with Apple Music the same way it has with Spotify when using Sonos Voice Control. It is on us to add however, so I’m happy to forward this as a feature request to the relevant teams for their consideration.

Hey Jamie, thanks for your reply! The main reason why I would want to have this is so that I know if my request was processed correctly. It happens often that the song played is not the one I requested and this helps me know that right away. So yes, I would like to see this implemented one day. Thanks again!
