Sonos S2 Controller App not showing now playing with Windows Media API

Not sure if it is supposed to or not, but it would be great if the Sonos S2 Controller App when playing a song would call the Windows Media API call so that it would show as now playing and the Windows media shortcut keys would work like volume up and down and previous and next song. Also, when the screen it locked it would show up as the song now playing on the lock screen. This would also allow other applications to display this information as rich presence in applications like Discord.

The Desktop apps have been feature-frozen for years so this isn’t going to happen.

However my Windows app (see profile) does most of these things (except volume control with the media keys, though you can use a Bluetooth media control to do that, or the Microsoft Dial).
