A wonderful playlist was spontaneously generated on my Sonos app titled Sunday Afternoon Mix from my personal music files collected over decades on various media then manually up loaded to Apple Music and combined with my iTunes library. 9,000 plus in total.   The mix generated by the Sonos app is the best I could have put together on my own. Problem is that I can only enjoy the playlist on my Sonos 2 platform but not my legacy S1 platform. I can live with that but would very much like to migrated the playlist to Apple Music or my hard drive/cloud so I can enjoy it remotely.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks, Murray

Hi @murraypod

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

What you seek cannot be done with the Sonos app - only with a third-party app. Luckily, one of our regular users has written an app that I believe can do what you are trying to achieve.

@controlav, I have a user here for you!

@murraypod - I believe he has a mention of a site where you can get the app in his profile page.

I hope this helps.

I need help applying @controlav software to transfer Sonos Playlist to Apple Music or my computer HD and could not find instructions on the web including Youtube. Does anyone know if and how I can accomplish my goal?

Thanks Murray

how did your Sonos app generate this playlist? I didn’t know it can spontaneously generate playlists. Are you sure it wasn’t Apple Music?

Anyway see below for exporting the playlist to Apple Music  But it shouldn’t be a problem to transfer to your /S1 via Phonos if you want to go that route
