Sonos people...how can you exist as a brand, company, whatever? Really. Is it because of the marketing??

How the f is possible that in 31 December 2024 to have the same issue with "need to login as system owner" error???? When this error was brought up by several customers for months already.

How can you not give a single s**t about your products? Absolutely insane. What do you work? What exactly have sonos employees done for months, if today a user can encounter the same stupid error??? You products cost a hell lot of money...and after we receive the products we look like clowns trying to do BASIC AND SIMPLE things with your dumb products. Absolutely unbelievable.

How the f can we get rid of this error? We tried everything. Unistalled the app, reinstall the app, reset the speakers. What the hell is going on? Noone from sonos is using the products???

And how can a SPEAKER in 2024 not have the most trivial and basic feature...BLUETOOTH?!?! It is insane...no other way to explain this...its INSANE. Who could decide in this company to not add a basic connectivity found on any other speaker on this planet? Are you trying to make fun of your customers? Jesus...my first experience with sonos products and I just cannot believe that you are more than an insignificant marginal company as long as you sell such absurdly bad products from both hardware and software perspective.

Again, for all Sonos employees, managers...fix this stupid error! Fire all the people who should have dealt with this and made absolutely ZERO for almost an year. Its obviously not something related to a small number of users, not something specific to a user. Its a stupidity that comes from your dumb software.

We now stay and look at your dumb app not being able to add a streaming service or do anything because the error keeps poping up. We search the internet up and down...no real solution found. Insane!

Hi @LaLac

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with being asked to log in as the system owner.

However - if you are signing in to the Sonos app with the email with which you are posting here, you are using the wrong email address - there are no speakers registered to the account you are using here, and if you sign in to the Sonos app with any account other than the one with which the system is registered, you will see that message.

If you would like to have the system registered to the email address with which you are posting here, please sign out (User icon » Sign out), then go to Settings icon » Manage » Transfer System Ownership.

I hope this helps.

How can I have the speakers registered to a different address when this is the address used in the sonos app?

What kind of twisted logic can you use when "registering" the speakers?? Who cares about registering and unregistering? We are talking about SPEAKERS not homes, cars, properties. Just let the speakers be visible and usable when anyone from the same WiFi is trying to connect to them via the app.

Now how can I find on which email are the speakers "registered"?? Was there a contest at Sonos on how to elaborate the most complicated process in order for someone to actually use your products?

Really...when you see so many problems related to this stupid logic with registering and ownership...no red flag is raised in the meetings from Sonos? Noone ever said during these months "Guys...we need to do something about this stupid thing. Its obviously a failed process that needs to change."? I don't know how...eliminate the "registering" step, something must be done.

And for Jesus sake...just add bluetooth to the speakers. Anyone else on this planet has bluetooth on the active speakers. Its the most trivial feature to have and still sonos doesn't have it on 500$+ speakers.

.

The speakers are internet enabled. In what logic is it twisted that you‘d have to register them and remember on what e-mail you registered it?

And by the way, the newer Sonos speakers do bluetooth.

Will just return these junks and will be the first and last time I'll ever touch a sonos product.

@moderators delete this topic and also delete this account. I see no way to delete it myself. I don't want to see or hear ever again smth about sonos.
