Sonos CR200 finally dead?

I switched from a Sonos S1 networked system using NAS drive to just using the music off my computer.  Upon doing this and updating my system software - the 2 CR200’s no longer work.  I read some previous posts that the using a networked system - the CR200’s will still work.  Do I have to switch back to my NAS drive or is my CR200’s finally dead?  Thanks Brian

Hi @old school brian

You are correct that you need to be on SonosNet for the CR200’s to work, which means you’ll need a Sonos device wired via Ethernet. You also wont need to swap back to the NAS drive if you don’t want to.

I’m not sure from your post if you updated to S2 or just changed how your music is stored, but just to be sure, you will also need to be on the S1 software.

I hope this helps!

Hi Jamie   THANKS IT WORKED - WAS REALLY EASY TO DO!!!!!    THANKS AGAIN!!!
