How are you supposed to add Boost wirelessly as you described.  If it’s not wired and you choose to “add”, it won’t show up.  It has been factory reset, bluetooth is on, and all other speakers are on and visible in the app.

You simply first add it to your Sonos Household from its factory reset state - just like you add any Sonos speaker - you can use any Sonos product wired for SonosNet, when it’s been added you swap the Boost and wire it afterwards. It just ensures you add it to the correct Sonos Household and not create a new one by mistake, which might have happened in your case - It can be disastrous if you get it wrong, as you could overwrite your existing HH with a new one and lose everything. Note it only applies if you have an existing Sonos setup - obviously most new setups used to start with the Boost, but even the Boost is fast becoming obsoleted these days - as mentioned in my previous post there are quite a few (new) Sonos products that no longer support a Boost/Sonosnet connection.
