Add me to those multitudes where Airplay can’t connect to Sonos Beam.

Been working for three years.

Just stopped.

Any solution? Step by step?

 

(Work ok with other devices in my home.)

Certainly suggests a network issue with the Beam. What are you sending your AirPlay 2 signal from? Have you performed a network refresh, by unplugging the Beam from power, then rebooting your router? Give the router a couple of minutes to finish loading before plugging back in your Beam.

Great advice from ​@Airgetlam. However my first questions are always:

  1. Have you updated your device. In your case the iOS
  2. Have you updated the Sonos app

If those have been done then IMO you are ready to move on to what ​@Airgetlam has suggested. I’ve experienced AirPlay issues and it was in my case due to updates. Just saying….

 


Resetting everything worked. So far.

iOS up to date.

i don’t use the Sonos app.

 

I play BBC Radio 2 on the phone and send it via airplay to various devices.
