Sonos app says version is 80.01.08 is up to date but the latest update is 80.02.05. Why won’t the app update? App is set to update automatically.

The app updates are usually rolled out to users in chunks, so some may get the update earlier than others. You may have been in the latter group to receive that update but at the time of your posting, 80.01.08 was the latest version listed on our release notes page, at least for Android.

Currently the Android version is 80.02.07 and the iOS version is 80.02.04. If you go into the Sonos app and tap System Settings → Manage → About Your System, does it show the latest release? If not, go into the app store to see if an update is available. You can also delete and re-install the app as your system settings are saved on your devices.
