Hello Everyone,

Thank you in advance for the help.

I have a Sonos AMP that powers my two rear ceiling speakers in my 5.1 setup. Recently, I noticed in the Sonos App that the SONOS Amp shows a label that simply states, “Left Surround”.

I don’t know what this means, but I assume that the app only believes I have a  just a left surround speaker connected to the Amp. In the settings, I can control Surround Height for Left and Right so it seems the Amp sees both speakers in the sound settings.

Both my left and right surround speaker are working perfectly with my Arc and Sub.

Is this an AMP issue or a display bug in the new Sonos app?

I think you answered your own question

there have been a lot of bugs.  To us ,  they are huge!, if it aint broke dont fix it!, but to be honest they are getting through them.

so i would say its a display feedback error.  If you can hear it its working

imagine, 100 million sets of ears all to be satisfied, lol

Noticed same display issue when app changed. Sound still works as expected from both rear surrounds.

Same here. A display bug.

Sigh... I should have looked it up here before I spent 30 minutes trying to fix what was wrong with my right surround!

I notice that attempts to rename Rooms usually fail. The former Room name prevails.
