I agree.
It’s an important part of the app, would be kinder to remove it altogether until they can be bothered to fix it.
So, I’ve now worked round it by using my daughters windows laptop (my whole home is Apple 🫤) I downloaded the Sonos software to it, found the system, logged into my account and then managed to create & save my new daily alarm schedule. One final check afterwards on my iPhone, to find the alarm successfully saved.
Next morning, the alarm (Radio) came on as expected - result!
Good luck
My alarms have disappeared from the IOS app. AGAIN. But they are still in the system and going off. Why has this bug not been fixed yet I’ve contacted Sonos support last week - they asked me to create a new alarm and report to them if ithat was working (NO) then my old alarms appeared again for a whole day and now they are gone.
WHY is this not addressed? And how is ‘We are aware of the issue and it is on our list to work on but we don’t have any timelines’ acceptible!? I will be woken up by an alarm on my Sonos speaker tomorrow at 6 unless I unplug my Sonos device. This is crazy.
I use the IOS app and my alarms never appear when I first open the app.
A workaround that is fairly successful for me is to play music through the Sonos speaker - then after about 30 seconds of the song the alarms reappear when I go back into Settings > alarms.
This seems to work most reliably if I search for a song/artist first (I stream through Spotify), instead of just playing the last played song.
For what it’s worth I have posted on a discontinued Community thread on Alarms. This seems to be the place with more recent posts so hope I am in the right place.
My situation, like many, is that my iPhone cannot SAVE any alarms after setting up. No amount of rebooting, restoring, resetting router/app/etc. makes any difference and like many I have to resort to setting alarms on Windows app or the iPad. The interesting thing, however, is this:
By chance my partner’s iPhone (identical model to mine) was no longer required so I fiddled with it one day by just loading the Sonos app (obviously wasn’t installed before) and I went to Alarms to set a few up.
Here’s the thing: ALL setup and saved perfectly.
Same phone, same model as stated.
So, without giving credit to Sonos it is interesting that it is only my phone out of all the gadgets in the house that will not save Alarms so conclusion is that it is “my” iPhone only that has the fault. i.e. It’s (possibly) an Apple problem and not Sonos or more likely a combination of both.
Will be interesting to see what happens when I buy a new iPhone but may be some time as I am perfectly happy with my SE (2020) model.
@obmuj more than likely it is either a configuration issue or something which is running on your phone and not the other. I would submit a diagnostic and then contact Sonos support with the reference number. They have tools available to track down the issue with your phone.
Here a few options to check:
1. iOS update
2. Internal storage space
3. Delete and reinstall the Sonos app
Thanks jgatie. I think, yes, time to contact Sonos directly.
AjTrek1; as stated I have reinstalled Sonos (several times) and my phone always updated. Internal storage is interesting as my ohine is quite full (ie about 3GB spare) so no idea why this would have affect on just setitng an alarm. Thanks for your thoughts anyway.

Limited and/or insufficient internal storage space can cause an app not to install fully (short of failing to install) or prevent the app from expanding properly when being used.
Update: 2.20pm UK time…..1 Sep 2025
Have received diagnostic support ref and phoned Sonos Support.
Extrememly nice chap (Juniper Gonzales; great name too) used his tools (GoToAssist App) to log on to my phone and we did, let’s just say, “everything” and after yet another update/re-installation tried to set Alarms and no luck. Went to iPad and set alarm and instantly appeared on phone.
Conclusion: being reported and escalated (haven’t we all heard that before), so no fix but if I hear anythng back to a now logged support request I will post. In meantime just use Windows or another iOs gadget.
“phew”!
