Sonos 2 won't connect to NAS Drive since this mornings Update

Yesterday everything was working fine.

This morning I had Updates on both Sonos 1 and Sonos 2 - I run old and new products separately.

Sonos 1 finds NAS drive OK and let’s me update the list.

My NAD 10 streaming tuner using BluOS finds and updates listings OK.

Sonos 2 will not show any connection to NAS drive.

I can hear that it is accessing the drive from the crunching noises it makes, but it won’t show the Drive on the System under Music Library.

Passwords are correct, path is correct, connections are correct.

I believe this is a software issue following this morning’s update.

Anyone else had problems?

p.s.  I’ve tried using both the app and my laptop - Nothing

I’ve tried using text path and numeric path - Nothing

Hi @Pickles150

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports - the specific error messages given will be important in this case.

I’d certainly first try rebooting every device involved, however - the speakers, the NAS and the router.

I hope this helps.

Thanks Corry P,

Did all that yesterday with Tech Support - they couldn’t sort it out.

Hi @Pickles150

Understood. We are looking into this, but I would also recommend that you contact the manufacturer of your NAS regarding this behaviour.

As I explained, nothing wrong with my NAS as it connects to Sonos 2 and BluOS.

More importantly it also connected to Sonos 2 without issue for at least 12 months until yesterday's Sonos update.

Hell, this is getting more like Tesla every day!
