While I too would love this feature, I’ll throw in this thought. You don’t have to always remove power by unplugging at the wall, although that is often easiest. You can also remove power by unplugging the other end, where it connects to the speaker.
Not always done easily, in the case of most mounted speakers, which is why I’d prefer your suggestion, but it does work in my home, for the more ‘accessible’ devices
Your post will be marked as a feature request when read by a Sonos mod.
In the meantime, I’ve found the easiest way to reboot a Sonos device without physically touching the plug/socket, is to use a smart plug.
I can turn the respective plug on/off using Alexa or using the Tapo app which is the make of smart plug I use.
Another approach is to use the circuit breakers.
This really should be a thing. Like, the other day, I called tech support, and they told me to restart the speakers that had been on for a month without a reboot. And you look like a fool. Do I have to unplug all ten speakers one by one? Nah, it'd be way better if this was in the app.
I smell AI in the ileads spam post above. The Sonos Community is very highly ranked on Google, which I why these spammers want to put their links in. The community software should stop first time posters including links, an easy fix.
SONOS should prohibit links in the signature.
Hi @Danni

Thank you - I've marked this thread as a feature request and it will be seen by the relevant teams for consideration. Keep the ideas coming!
You may find that rebooting your router is enough to get AirPlay working again - please try this, as it should be easier.
My cords are difficult to access, have to ask family over to get to one set so I added several of these. About $19.00 US. Work great and easy to hide the switch if you want it out of sight.
