When I use the sleep timer a new bug seems to have been introduced. When the timer ends the music or podcast fades out as expected, but then you get a second or so of music again before the sound stops. Anyone else experiencing this?

I asked some colleagues to test and they weren’t able to reproduce this: on their system, the sleep timer works as expected. You mention that this happens with both music and podcasts, is this from the same service or do you experience this across all music services?
I would check that your Sonos system is up to date and, if so, rebooting your system by powering off: your Router, Sonos speakers, and device running the Sonos app for one to two minutes each in that order. Once everything is powered back on, try the sleep timer again to see if the issue still occurs.
If you’re still having issues after a reboot, then I’d suggest replicating the issue, submitting a diagnostics after it occurs, then contacting our support team to troubleshoot with them. They have the necessary tools available to look into your system to see why the sleep timer isn’t stopping correctly.
