Question

Since update my services: Sirius, Spotify, TuneIn etc do longer connect

Forum|alt.badge.img

Since the latest update (80.03.07) the Sonos app all my services are removed and cannot connect to them. I formerly connected to and played them with no problem.  I see an error when I try to add a service that there is a message “check your internet  connection and try again”. There nothing wrong with my internet connection. Is this a know issue?

I have exactly the same issue. Working before the most recent update. Services are now missing and cannot be added. Airplay works.

Yep same here. Couldn’t access Plex (music library workaround)), Apple Music, Sonos radio, TuneIn, nothing.
Controller on iMac still works. I quit.

The automated software testing process must be completely absent.

Contact a consultancy if you can't figure it out.. this is pathetic.

New update (June 21'st) renders the app unusable due to backend issues.

500 internal server error, failed to retrieve music account information.

Error after error.

An unmitigated disaster.

And ongoing for months.. dissapointing is a an understatement.

Just to make clear just how severe this defect is I have carefully curated the stations and programs I listen to from over a decade. They are no gone. I was even resigned to manually adding each back one by one.  But those selections never get added to “Favorites” and “Favorites” never appear on the home screen.  By the way this issue only happens on the iPhone and iPad versions of the controller software.

Why is every upgrade a roll of the dice?  I find that I have to update every time one is offered in hopes that it will fix the current defects only in doin so I find  new release breaks something that was working. Don’t you folks in software development have a process called regression testing that is put in place to avoid these situations?
