Approximately once a day, the app prompts me to sign in.
With the old apps/controllers, I stayed signed in for 15 years... Am I missing something?
for me it started a few weeks ago. Since then i need to Re-Login every few days (not every day but after a week or so)
Older iPhoneX running iOS16 (latest iOS that is available for that device)
very annoying because we’re using that iPhone to set up the wake-up alarms. If my wife likes to set a alarm and can’t because I need to login again … not good :/
now this thread is 3 months old … oh my … I hope SONOS will find a solution for this one soon?!

This was a big problem for a lot of users but it seems they’ve fixed it for most. Sonos is still fixing the app reliability so maybe it will fix through an update in the next few weeks, months or year on its own. Though You could try a third party app (just search the community) or the Sonos desktop as they have proven to be much more reliable for some people.
i wrote an e-mail a few days ago but didn’t get anything back yet. will see.

maybe it’s a different problem because i’m not experiencing it daily … I didn’t read that it’s solved yet so i have hope that SONOS will fix it soon with an update.
Using 3rd party tools isn’t that easy. I (we) only need the app for one feature alone: setting alarms. For this we have an old iPhone X installed as a remote/console for the SONOS. Apple only supports iOS16 on that device and the 3rd-Party tools that i found (not that many are even able to set alarms) needs at least iOS17 …
I know that this probably is a very specific and personal problem but then… the old app was able to serve us on an even older iPhone6 with not a single problem for a long time. I get that the App is very complex, that they had to update because of the new headphones and so on… but as a customer i have to say that this is very annoying in the past months
… well, new year, new luck i hope
I also have this daily. And the app is like frozen when it happens (iOS, iPhone Pro 15, 80.15.04). Takes quite a while to be able to login.
Hi all
My apologies - this issue flew under my radar for a while.
This issue has been resolved in previous software updates. However, if you are still experiencing this log-in loop, then you will need to follow these steps to resolve it:
- Reset the Sonos app (all copies) - User icon » App Preferences » Reset App » Reset
- Uninstall the Sonos app (all copies)
- Reinstall the Sonos app
And, if the above does not help:
- Reset the Sonos app (all copies) - User icon » App Preferences » Reset App » Reset
- Uninstall the Sonos app (all copies)
- Factory Reset all Sonos devices
- Reinstall the Sonos app
- Set up Sonos system from scratch (Create a New System). Your existing Sonos account can be used.
Please note that resetting all Sonos devices will result in all Sonos Favourites, Sonos Playlists, music services and settings being permanently lost (music service accounts will not be affected, of course).
I hope this helps.
Same issue here. New version is awful. Ibfollowed the suggestions from Kos, reset/reinstall, now it's worse. Keeps trying to sell me premium services, can'teven get to basicfunctioning.
Terrible. So i submitted a request fir service, apparently a 3 day response std.
With whom did you submit this ‘request fir service’ (sic)?
