Hi,

I have a Sonos ONE gen2, it was working ok with the S1 app under Android on my Xiaomi, but the S1 app asked for an upgrade without giving me other option, and now the S2 app is not working : it kept showing the splash screen and nothing else. I tried uninstall / reinstall the app several times without success. I also reinit the Sonos ONE that now is showing a green flashing light.

As my Sonos ONE lost its config, I cannot run any setup… And cannot use my speaker anymore…

Any idea ?

Try restarting your phone to clear its cache.

Thanks for the idea. I already tried

  • cleaning the whole cache
  • unsintalling the app, then rebooting the phone, then installing back

nothing works : the app is stucked on the splash screen showing the “sonos” logo.

try this, maybe this works for you as well.

  1. disable google chrome via android settings → apps
  2. open the sonos app and sign in (sign in process should be handled by Mi Browser webview now)
  3. after successful login you can now go back to the android settings and enable chrome again
