Re-enable Last.fm scrobbling

Note! This was discussed previously but the request was misunderstood by Sonos staff so I’m creating a new topic.

Sonos used to support Last.fm scrobbling (i.e. Track My Music – storing the user’s listening history to the Last.fm service) but this was deprecated in the new app.

Please re-enable scrobbling.

Info: https://www.last.fm/about/trackmymusic – they even list Sonos on that page :(

To quote from the topic you link to: “Last.fm is no longer available on Sonos as a music service. It was discontinued in June last year.” I suppose you see a misunderstanding in describing Last.fm as a “music service”, but the message conveyed seems quite clear: since the new app and the software changes it entailed Last.fm is not supported by Sonos. The Sonos page on Last.fm redirects to a Sonos page that doesn’t exist anymore.

I can see you might want this feature to return, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Thank you – I do realise that Last.fm support was not included in the new app. That’s why I am opening a request for it to be included now that the app is no longer new and the team might have time to consider features they originally excluded.
