In my experience this usually depends on the station. Not all stations supply this data. Also, the data is sometimes transmitted only when the song changes at the station. This means that if you join the station in mid track, the display will not update. These glitches tend to be station specific.

There are some (less likely) more esoteric possibilities coupled with issues on your local network or Internet feed. You will need to work with SONOS support to explore these. Immediately after one of these events, submit a diagnostic, then call phone support.
