I hired Best Buy to update my Sonos system which has been broken since April or May.  By broken, I mean that there is no old or new version that meshes with Windows 11 version 26100.3037.  Is Sonos assisting them in at least getting my digitized albums to create the catalog by browsing to my music folder and updating my system?  Further, is there currently any ability to play my music?

Sounds like you need to setup the shared library using SMBv2 (or higher). Here are a couple of Sonos Support links that perhaps may assist…

If your issues persist, then it maybe best to reproduce the issue(s) seen and immediately submit a Sonos system diagnostic report from within the Sonos App, note it’s reference and either you, or your representative contact/chat with Sonos Support Staff via this LINK and see what the Staff can perhaps suggest to help you to resolve the matter.
