I have iHeartRadio installed as a music service in the Sonos app and it has worked perfectly until recently. If I search for an artist, that artist actually comes up on the list with iHeartRadio as an option but when I then click to select I get an error (see picture below). I do have a workaround as I can open the iHeartRadio app on my phone and then search for the artist and then connect to the room I want to listen to the music in. However, it is still annoying why I can’t do it directly from the Sonos app which used to work.

Any input on why I get this error and how to fix it?

It may seem an odd pair of suggestions, but it’s entirely possible that your speakers are losing connection to your router, so the stream going to the speakers is broken, but your phone is maintaining a good connection.

I’d double check the wifi interference FAQ first, and then try a refresh of the Network, by unplugging all Sonos devices from power, then while they are unplugged, rebooting the router. once the router comes back up, plugging back in the Sonos devices.

However, if neither approach works, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it, or post the diagnostic number here for a Community Moderator to pick up.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, there are more options available beyond just the diagnostic analysis.
