Pocket Casts not showing any podcasts and when I try a reauthorize it says check the internet connection.

There’s a Reddit thread with several reporting the same issue.

I also can’t connect to Pocket Casts. It was working fine (or as well as it usually does) until last night. I had a similar problem about a week ago, but it came back after a couple hours. This seems to be taking longer, but I’m glad to see I’m not the only one.

Me too - working fine yesterday, not working today. Tried reauthorising PocketCast source several times- same ‘internet connection’ message as you guys. Tried deleting account from Sonos - that works, but now I can’t add it back in. Very frustrating. I’ll try again later tonight

Pocket Casts is also unusable for me since yesterday.  This problem has existed intermittently for years.  Usually it affects only a subset of Pocket Casts episodes in my queue, which may be unplayable for hours or days.  Now I get the error "the connection to Pocket Casts was lost" for every episode.

Like another poster, I also tried removing the Sonos Pocket Casts service and re-adding it, but it's now impossible to add -- I get the error "there was a problem getting started.  Please check your network connection, then try again."  My network connection is working fine.

Quite a while ago (possibly years) I reported this problem to Pocket Casts support.  They would not acknowledge that I listen to Pocket Casts via the Sonos service, so I gave up.

Yesterday I saw an assertion somewhere on the Internet (which may or may not be reliable) that Pocket Casts is responsible for fixing the problem we're seeing, and Sonos can't do anything about it.

Same for me in Mexico.  S1 controller unable to find files.  I removed account but could not re-install.  Claims internet connection issue

Hopefully this will self-correct soon

i can play podcasts on my phone but not thru Sonos

I have the same issue defined by OP..

On another note related to pocketcast and iOS Sonos app, anyone here add pocketcast podcast episodes to Sonos playlists?

Before a couple weeks ago, I could see the podcast picture to the left of the episode in the play list, but for the past two weeks the images went away. This makes it extremely difficult to reorder episodes in my Sonos playlist. I have no idea what podcast the episode is related too. The weird thing is, the Sonos playlist image still assumes the image of the first podcast.

here’s example of what I’m talking about.

I already have a ticket open with Sonos but wanted to ask peeps here if they are experiencing the same thing. Sonos Windows application doesn’t have the issue.

It looks like Pocket cast has solved their technical issues connecting with Sonos cause I am back in

I also can confirm pocketcast is working again, but playlist images still don’t work. I don’t even care about the images, just give me a title of the podcast and the episode title.
