I’d pretty much given up on making the Sonos desktop app work with my mac as it simply couldn’t find my music folder. I’d found the solution recently and thought all was well until I tried to play some music through it - it seems that only some folders within my actual itunes library have been added and i’ve no idea why. My ‘music’ folder is in the ‘folders’ section but that’s a lot of other random stuff but my actual itunes library only has about 7 artists (out of loads!) that I can select from

any ideas why?

UPDATE - it seems that it’s not added my itunes folder full stop. When i try to add the itunes music library that’s located in my main music folder it says i don’t have permission - yet when i tried to add my music folder (that contains my itunes stuff as well a bunch of other random music things) it lets me, minus that actual music from the itunes

any ideas about it??

Obviously the permissions on your iTunes folder are not sufficient for Sonos to process the files inside iTunes, whereas the other folder has sufficient permissions.  See this link on how to set up a share and assign the proper permissions:

I’d already made sure all the permissions were granted, but still nothing..

Check the folders inside iTunes.
