No library no playlisst no services - nothing works


Everyone is so wrong with my Sonos right now I don’t even know where to begin. It can’t access my music library, it can’t play my playlists, it can’t play from Spotify.  This all just suddenly happened. 

I’ve been a longtime Sonos user, but I am increasingly frustrated with how unstable the system is.  One would think the software would get better over time but it keeps getting worse.  Reminds me of my old Squeezebox system.

Reboot your router and phone.

Once you get it going again take a few minutes to set up static/reserved IP addresses in your router’s DHCP pages for your Sonos devices. It isn’t a cure-all but it does eliminate one common class of problems.

Once done power down ALL Sonos, reboot router and your controller, power Sonos back up.
