Does this new App control both S1 and S2 Sonos devices? I have a client that has a bunch of older Sonos Amps and now he is buying some new Sonos Arcs. He is having to use two different apps and he does not want to have to do that.

No, you will never be able to combine S1 only and newer products in the same app.
