Hi guys

today I payed $22.99 for lifetime purchase on streaming music no adds etc etc and it’s nothing but terrible not user friendly how can I get my money back very disappointed from Sonos

Who did you pay this $22.99 to?

Apple Bruce I believe what a drama very disappointing I’m waiting a response, also features it boasts don’t stream properly and adds still pop up on YouTube & streaming services don’t work properly, you can’t do what ya want as advertised doesn’t make sense this app why ?

Waiting for a response from whom? Your posts aren’t very clear, what is the issue in particular that you’re experiencing with Sonos, rather than Apple? In most cases, issues experienced with Sonos are usually network related, and not the Sonos software, which is merely a player that goes to the service’s servers to get data to play.

If you can provide more specifics of what issues you’re running in to, it’s possible this community of users can help, but right now, there just isn’t much information beyond ‘it doesn’t work’.

You may want to call Sonos Support directly to discuss it, as well, to get help from Sonos directly.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

For better or worse, any network system, like Sonos, is only as good as the network connections it hangs on.

Sounds like a scam to me, Sonos doesn’t charge for anything (besides Sonos Radio HD). I would try to get my money back in the app store.

“Lifetime purchase on streaming music” - specifically what streaming service or app do you pay this to/for?

Apple doesnt have a lifetime option, you were definitely scammed unless you mean unlimited. I use Apple Music (I pay monthly) and my only problems with it are no artist images and it doesn't work with Google assistant. I dont think thats anything to do with Sonos though its more Google and apples API

Also ads on YouTube is nothing to do with Apple YouTube is owned by Google and unless you pay Google for YouTube you will have adverts buying Apple Music will not change that.

OP’s profile says they are in Australia and use Spotify. None of the prices on this page https://www.spotify.com/au/premium/#plans are $22.99 so I think we can assume this person was scammed.
