In previous versions of the Sonos app, the Sonos Systems Settings for the Arc, used to show the audio in settings (Stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1, etc).

In the new app this does not display.

Additionally, I occasionally get no audio out when I turn on the TV using my Apple TV remote. This also happens occasionally when I switch the streaming app on the Apple TV 4K from one service to another. To rectify the situation, I have to open settings in the Apple TV app, and change the temporary audio out settings to the Arc.

Sonos didn’t include the audio format under About My System on the new app. The only place it is displayed is the Now Playing screen.

Be sure you have TV Autoplay enabled under the Arc’s settings in the Sonos app.

I checked an TV auto play is turned on.

If they moved the audio in data to now playing, they need to remove the entry from the speaker page. By keeping it there, it appears to be missing and confuses the user. It’s the small changes they make to the UI that cause issues. This should have been caught in the BETA test.

I was able to see the audio in data using the Your System page and selecting the active speaker.
