I have 4 pairs of speakers around the house running on a nighthawk router.

I’m able to listen to radio with iheart.

I have music on my pc I want to listen to.

I’m running Windows8.  I gave permission to Sonos to share the folder.  When I attempt to add it in the app, it won’t work.  913

I tried a zip drive into the router, but the router doesn’t see it.

WORST part about sonos is, it doesn’t work.

Did you use the Sonos mobile app to set up the share or did you use the Sonos PC app?

Windows 8 is an old operating system that may still be using HTTP and SMBv1 file sharing protocols that Sonos no longer supports. Make sure it is using SMBv2 or SMBv3.
