I am using a 60 GB SanDisk Cruzer Glide stick containing 40 GB of music in my router as a NAS.  Sonos gives the error “unable to play (song name), unable to connect to RT-AX92U (my router)” when

play or shuffle is clicked.  This eliminates a random half of my saved songs. If I use finder to locate a song, I can play anything. If I choose only one song at a time, all can be played.  This appears to be a problem with the building of the “all songs” queue.

What did Sonos support say when you contacted them with a diagnostic number?

Do you have anything else you could host your music on as a test?

I’d be leaning towards a connection issue where the data isn’t coming in fast enough to make Sonos happy.
