Hello, good afternoon. I have a question please. If I have two different Sonos accounts (i.e. two systems registered with two different emails), is it possible to manage the music from both accounts with a single Sonos App? That is, play music from a single device (for example a tablet) regardless of the location? Could I control the music from any internet connection without having to be physically at the location? Thank you in advance.

The Sonos app is like a remote control and can be connected to different Sonos systems it „knows“.
To connect to a system the device running the app has to be on the same wifi as the Sonos system / devices.
That said… yes, you can control different systems using different Sonos accounts with the same Sonos app on one device. And no, in you can’t control a Sonos system via the Sonos app from anywhere using any kind of internet connection. But you can do so using the Sonos web app with an internet browser on devices with compatible screen size.

You need to be in the lcoation with the wifi the system is connected to.  If you go between 2 locations it will find either system no matter what account logged in to.   There is issue if you try both systems on same wifi.

This isn’t the case anymore though. OP can control either system from any location with internet access and a supported browser.

By using the web app, indeed. Not sure how the web app handles two systems though.

OP says two different accounts so should be no issue with the web app. But TBH I only have one so haven’t tested it.

Thanks you bro, i appreciate your help.

You’re right… I can confirm that. For web app the Sonos account you use to log in shows all systems connected with this account and you can choose which one you like to use.

Sonos no longer let you set up multiple systems on the same email account. Not sure when they started enforcing this, but around the time of the May disaster is the first I saw it not recommended.

If you have one email connected to multiple Households the web app will ask you which system you wish to control after you log in, as should third party cloud integrations. You can read about this here:

https://docs.sonos.com/docs/seg-households

Note however that some web based stuff is challenged by this (eg Alexa) so I assume that is why Sonos are moving away from this and require unique email addresses per Household now.
