Lack of treble control

The treble slider control has negligible effect with latest update to version 80.02.04 on my iPhone. The bass slider control still works well.  Anyone else having this issue?

That just means you are going deaf. The high frequencies are the first to go!

But jokes aside, I have not noticed that. I have the latest app update and firmware update.

I am probably not one to comment on this because for the most part, by EQ settings stay flat. I do not feel the need to adjust them for every song or genre of music. I just listen to music mostly, as the artist and engineers intended the mix to sound.

Yes, a good guess. And that is, surely, part of the issue. I do have hearing loss above 6 kHz whereas my 14  year old grandson has no problem hearing up to 20 kHz.

That’s why I like to boost the treble a tad to compensate. And I’m still hearing a significant difference when adjusting the treble control on my non-Sonos music system. Perhaps the Sonos treble control does not impact frequencies below 6 kH in the range of my hearing. But I used to hear a significant change when adjusting the treble before the update. Maybe that treble crossover frequency was changed in the update.
