Using my Samsung phone I connect with sonos and select Music Library. When I select songs to play a specific song sonos plays the first song in the last playlist I played. How do I exit from the previously selected playlist?

Hi @Pacific Jim

Thanks for your post!

Sorry to hear of this issue you are having with the last-played track playing again before your selected music plays.

I could not replicate your issue in my own testing - could you please go into more detail in regards to what actions you perform to reproduce this issue? Thanks.

Before doing so, however, please try rebooting both the speaker and the device running the Sonos app.

I hope this helps.

Yes, I am unable to get out of the song list that I last played. Have tried to get out of it for a month.

When I open sonos and go to my music library the last track in the last song list is at the bottom of my phone screen. That song in the last song list plays when I try to select a song with the artist or albums content tab.

Hi @Pacific Jim

Thank you - I was using the Playlists and Songs containers, so I was not doing exactly the same thing as you were.

I have now tried again with the Albums container, but I still cannot replicate the issue you describe.

I recommend that you record a screen capture (a function of your phone) of what happens in the app as you reproduce this issue, and upload it to YouTube or to a file sharing service such as Google Drive, then get in touch with our technical support team and share the link to the video with them - this way, it will require less typing/speaking to explain the issue, and you will have the demonstration of the issue ready to go.

It may help to reset the app - please try this before calling in. To reset the app, please go to User icon » App Preferences » Reset App » Reset. Once done, open the app once more and opt to connect to an existing system.

I hope this helps.
