With the new app my SONOS infrastructure has effectively become a paper weight. IS there anyway to roll back so I can get to my NAS based music and radio stations again?

I think if you could,,,everyone would have been doing it.
For Android users, S2 version of the app is available. You need to uninstall Sonos application first, then download the right apk and explicitely install it.

Don’t forget to disable the automatic update in Sonos S2 System Parameters
It has ruined my experience being home. I hate Sonos now
