I just noticed the S1 app claims Deezer is no longer supported on Sonos. Is this right? Its still on the Services web page, though there’s no indication of S1 compatibility on that page.

Hi @controlav

Thanks for flagging!

I can find no documentary evidence that Deezer is being dropped from S1, nor have I heard mention of it at all.

My colleague has tested on their own S1 system and has no problem with playing Deezer.

I thought at first that your locale might have changed, but it does not appear to be that.

Do you have the S1 controller on another platform to compare? If so, and only this controller exhibits this behaviour, please reset the app or reinstall. If all controllers show the same, please submit a support diagnostic after trying to browse or add the service and let me know here when you have done so. Thanks.

I hope this helps.

Same error on two Desktop controllers and iPhone.

I think this is user error: I cancelled my Deezer sub in the last month, so I think the error message from Deezer SMAPI is just wrong.

I had to re-authorise my Apple account this morning. I’ve never had to do that to my knowledge at any point in the last few years.

Someone on another thread has also had trouble connecting to YouTube Music. (Edit: now resolved by adding it via laptop)

And now the Deezer issue.

Is there a wider issue at play today that is impacting music service recognition/authorisation?

Ah ok - I would put it down to that, yes.

Thanks for the additional info!
