I have tried to add my iTunes Library on my PC to SONOS.  When I did that my PC’s Sonos App showed Music Library >Indexing.  Indexing has been going on for about 10 hours and is not yet complete.  I have approximately 2,500 music files.  Indexing over 10 hours seems much longer than what I have read is typical.

 

Can someone provide ideas of what to do next

I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble with slow indexing of your Music Library to your PC.

There are several threads in our Community which discuss this if you want to have a look. I’m sharing just one below:

I would suggest you to Submit Diagnostics within 10 minutes of reproducing the issue and contact our Support Team for some live troubleshooting.

They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice specific to your Sonos System and what it reports.
