I cant find my Beam in homekit.

I want to add my Sonos beam into my HomeKit, but I cannot find the device from the home app. I had tried to reset my beam and restart my home but it is not working.

I appreciate your detailed post outlining the issue as well as the troubleshooting steps that you did, let me help and try to figure this out.

  • First off, this device you’re using to register the HomeKit accessory should be the one that was used for the Home set up itself.
  • Please ensure that all the devices are connected to the main router/Wifi network and not on some other wireless access point, or hub.
  • The iOS device should be in the 2.4GHz Wifi network.
  • It usually helps to reboot the main router, the Beam, and the iOS device. 
  • Then, retry the HomeKit accessory-setup process again.
