Hi can anyone help me pleaseI am a Mac user I have never had a problem with my meta data before until the wonderful app changeover
I have upgraded my whole system to be gen 2 when my Sonos is playing the ID tags and artwork is not coming up properly now but some of it is and all I have done is changed from GEN one to GEN two
When I look up in iTunes they are tagged and artwork is there so why when converting it to Sonos does this all change and go wrong?
If someone can explain this step-by-step would be wonderful

Hi @mark b,
I’m sorry to hear that your music library isn’t displaying your files correctly.
There isn’t anything that the Sonos app changes when adding your library, so it’s likely something is missing. If your music library isn’t displaying correctly, then either the metadata for your library is incomplete or the indexing for your music library didn’t finish correctly. I’d suggest doublechecking that the metadata is correct and, if so, re-index your music library.
If either of those options don’t resolve the issue, then I’d recommend calling into our support team for further troubleshooting assistance. They have the necessary tools available to look into your system to see why your music library isn’t displaying correct and help you resolve this.
I hope this helps!
Hi thank you for your reply. Yes I have checked all my math data. I never had a problem with it beforehand until I changed my Sonos equipment and updated it then the matter has changed. I have no problems in iTunes whatsoever and all I do is transfer it over properly Which has been through the The Sonos team but when question Sonos, they said they could not do anything extra as it’s third-party problem did not even look into the system of seeing where the fault lies could not prove it to me but just willing to put it down to third-party problems if someone in Sonos could have a look I would be grateful
Here is another diagnostic report *********

You can mention that they were sent, just not the number.
For the songs without the data displaying, do they actually play? Sonos displays filenames for songs in a queue that are no longer accessible (moved or renamed for example).
Yes they do play i may have the odd one that will not play
If they definitely play and don't just move on to the next track in the queue, if you re-add the track to the queue does it appear the same as above? Re-index, find the track and Add to queue.
Okay, I'm currently working on it. I have gone back to the original source of iTunes into the playlist where the songs are not showing the correct information. I have played them all in iTunes so all the files have been opened up.
I have gone back to iTunes and transferred the XML file onto my network device storage
Now I am re-importing the songs and the files back to my network storage and then into Sonos indexing
Then I will go to the original file or playlist should I say reimports that to my Sonos favourites then I will try to play them again still working on it at the moment. Let you know the results shortly.
I have done all of everything I said on the last message I have this popped up 1734212258
And I have tried playing the song, 1-14 real thing.mp3 and has not changed to the artwork or layout that it should be
