group volume control in new app

Has anyone else had an issue with the volume control in the new app ? I have 2 stereo pairs and a sub in my kitchen and when I change the volume on the app (without opening both speaker volume controls) it just changes the volume on the pair listed first in the group. On the previous app it changes all linked speakers. It makes group volume control very clunky. I’m guessing it’s either an oversight or you have to set up the group volume control somewhere. 

Any ideas?
