Going to change WiFi password: how to update Sonos before change?

I'm going to update the WiFi password (due to some requirements of other products I own) and I want to change the WiFi-password on my Sonos system pro-actively beforehand (after reading about all the issues with changing WiFi settings; and I know my Sonos devices are not compatible with what's written here: https://support.sonos.com/en/article/connect-sonos-to-a-new-router-or-wi-fi-network).

Any way of doing that?

Just a suggestion, but can you switch to a wired set up (Sonosnet) for now, at least until the app is more stable?
