@Corry P

Hi. Is it normal to have to re-authorise to Sonos radio once or twice a week? Happens on both my iPad and iPhone.

I do not have a paid subscription to Sonos HD.

I have sent through a diagnostic.

Ross.

Hi @rosswells127

Thanks for your post!

Is it normal to have to re-authorise to Sonos radio once or twice a week?

Certainly not! I have noticed it once or twice on my own system since May, but I don’t use any radio sources much, so I suppose it could have been more frequent had I done so.

Thanks for the diagnostic - was it submitted before you reauthorized? Just so I know for context, thanks.

@Corry Yes the diagnostic was before I reauthorized. I have a couple of Sonos radio collections pinned to my Home Screen so I see the issue as soon as i open the app. Ross.

Hi @rosswells127

Thank you for your patience.

My colleague was unable to find anything untoward in your diagnostics, so we are not sure why this is happening to you.

My next piece of advice would be to create a new Sonos account, if you have another email that you can use, and Transfer Ownership of your system to this new account once you have verified the email address. User icon » Sign Out followed by Settings icon » Manage » Transfer System Ownership. All settings, favourites and music services will be kept during the process, but as Sonos Radio is tied to your Sonos account rather than to a separate one, I am hoping that this will work. If it does not help, you can always transfer back if you’d prefer to keep Sonos on the first account.

I hope this helps.

Thanks @Corry P . The issue has not occurred since I reported the issue 7 days ago. If it happens again I will do as you advise.
Ross.
