Wifi names show up with weird names when trying to install new speakers.

could it be the special danish letters “æ” and “ø” that bugs it?

Cant connect to the wifi networks with the correct password

Hi @Romlund86, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Wi-Fi name not displaying correctly in the app.

I’ve raised this with the team as we’re able to replicate this where Wi-Fi SSID containing æ, ø or å will fail to display properly in the Sonos app. We don’t have an ETA to share on when this will be resolved, however I have tagged the thread as having the issue. As the issue is purely visual, you can still connect with these characters in your Wi-FI SSID, though we’d recommend removing them if the option is available.

I hope this helps!

Yup, something in that code is not handling non-ascii characters correctly.

Is this your address? Maybe you should not publish it on the internet then. If you cannot remove it yourself, maybe ask a Sonos rep?
