Hi

I have a problem with Era 100 pair when I airplay music from Apple Music. For some reason right speakers cuts out for a second or two. I have tried to stream with Bluetooth and then there is no cutting out. If I airplay it to another system on network there is no cutting outs. So only problem seems to be with Eras

As a test, physically swap left and right.

I tested this with both IPhone and Mac mini and it cuts out only that ”right” speaker no matter if it is on left or right. I made discovery that with Mac mini those cutouts come more often.

Happens to me if both speakers are not on the same frequency. e.g one on 2.4ghz and the other on 5ghz. Check the network connection for each speaker.

Both speakers are on same 5ghz network. For some reason right speakers SNR is 75db and left 85db. Right is closer to WiFi box and they are like 1,5m apart

As another test, unpair the speakers and exchange left and right as you pair again.

It would be a good idea to take a diagnostic and log the current setup after an event.

Sharing my personal expereinced steps that i try on a similar problem and it helps:

  • Had same issue with Era 100, only on AirPlay (Apple Music).
  • Works perfect via Bluetooth or AirPlay to other speakers.
  • Might be a Wi-Fi or firmware glitch with the Eras.
  • Try resetting the speakers or re-pairing AirPlay.
