Is it possible to find a worse piece of software than Sonos desktop? Once again mine has stopped working, terrible stuff.

Certainly not enough information to possibly help.

Other than the web based controller, which is still being developed, the desktop software hasn’t been updated in years, other than bug fixes. We’ve been told that once the current web controller reaches parity with the mobile client, the two desktop apps will be retired completely.

Which desktop app are you having difficulty with? Which OS are you running? Which Sonos controller, S1 or S2? What specific issue are you running in to? Do you have a mobile controller? Have you called Sonos Support to discuss it?

I’m not having any issues with my Windows Desktop Controller.

I mainly use the Windows desktop controller and have never had any issues with it.

Just for contrast, I’ve been using the Mac controller for years, and for what I use it for, it works well.

That’s not been my experience at all.

the windows desktop Sonos software has been the best of all the Sonos apps for the last year.

i was using it yesterday and was surprised just how quick and responsive it was compared to the android and iOS  apps, it’s logical and has worked extremely well throughout this difficult time where so many features in the other apps have been missing or broken.

as others have said there is too little info in the original post to offer any practical help.
