noticed this today…

Any idea what this does.  I used to feel confident clicking on Update. Now? 🤔😐😯😬

Release notes for June updates are only for Android and iOS.  This is the Windows version - Sonos_79.1-53290.

I am also reluctant to trigger the update. The desktop controller is the only way I can access the functionality that I became accustomed to. One issue that I had today, after the rest of my system had the latest SONOS app modifications last night, was a bricked MOVE. I shut down the PC so SONOS wouldn’t be able to see it, got the other stuff “running” again, and then started up my PC. I’m holding out on the Desktop Controller  modification indefinitely. There is nothing to suggest that anything good will happen.

Caution before updating is super-prudent! FWIW, I did update my Windows desktop client and performed the associated firmware update and nothing bad happened. Woo hoo?!?!
