If your CR200 controller won’t charge, or appears to only charge intermittently, try the following:

With the controller resting in its cradle, select restart from the advanced settings menu.  It will then restart and charge. Well it certainly works for ours.

Thanks for sharing how you were able to get your CR200 charging, I hope this helps anyone else who runs into the same issue.

To add to this: while we don’t sell the CR200 anymore, if this keeps happening then I would recommend looking online for a replacement battery or a unit you can take the battery from. Having to restart the device to have it charge or only having the device charge intermittently sounds like the battery is on it’s last legs.

We were having this problem so purchased a new battery (only our 2nd replacement since new) and the issue persisted. We use the controller with our old Player5 whilst running on the treadmill - using a phone is hopeless with sweaty fingers! Elsewhere in the house we use iPhones and PCs to control/manage our players.

It was purely by chance I discovered this to be the most reliable way to stop the intermittent charging (cycles approx every10-15 secs).
