Been struggling for a while connecting my Sonos 1 & 3 to the app . Sometimes they connect within a couple of attempts but most of the time I’m 20 - 30 mins trying to connect . Anybody have any fixes ?

You need to choose one app to control your speaker. If you have other speakers that can only be controlled by the S1 app, then stay with that app. If you have other speakers that can be controlled by the S2 app, stay with that app.

If you have speakers that need the S1 app AND speakers that NEED the S2 app, you can have both, but you will need to choose which app the Beam will use.. it CANNOT be controlled by both at the same time.

Play 1 and Play 3 as a guess?

Both should work on the S1 app or be downgradable to it. Both are good with S2 also.

First fix to try is powering down all Sonos, rebooting the router and powering up all Sonos.

If that fails I'd look to the Sonos support page for WiFi issues.

I’ve been having connectivity issues ever since changing IP. I’ve changed WiFi name, updated network settings, even factory resetting everything. I’m uncertain if I need to enable locations services on my IPhone after setup but every time I leave my home, the issue persist. Appreciate much any suggestions you may have to address, thank you.

Good luck with talking with support. Can’t understand them farmed out to another country and they are reading from a computer screen because they don’t have a clue as to how the system works and it takes a lot of time and I finally threw my hands up and hung up. It is really crazy and I will never buy another Sonos equipment.
