can you help me add Ibiza global radio?

Hi, I have a Sonos one SL and I use the sonos app on IOS. When in ibiza I used a sonos system in an air bnb and played ibiza global radio on the app. All fine. Came back to the UK and bought my first sonos to play it here. Setup and the app won’t find Ibiza global radio or any other ibiza stations really. I’ve added tunein but that won’t find it. I’ve researched about adding radio but not getting anywhere.

Am I able to add this on the sonos app and play in the UK? Presumed it would just find it straight away no problems. Struggling, help!

thanks

Can you get it on your phone? If so then just Airplay it to Sonos.

Nope it doesn’t come up, but it came up when in actual Ibiza 🤷🏼‍♂️

If you can't get it to play on your phone then this isn't a Sonos issue.

Can you not stream it from https://ibizaglobalradio.com then Airplay it to Sonos?

Since you mention Spain and the UK, could this be Brexit-related?

This post also mentions a workl around.

OK... this should work

Note the semicolon at the end

You can add the radio station to Sonos yourself, see

https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/add-an-internet-radio-station-to-sonos

Use streaming url:

http://ibizaglobalradio.streaming-pro.com:8024/;

Note: use the complete url as it appears here, including the semicolon at the end.

John it’s the Sonos App with the Sonos speaker

I could but I just liked the convenience of it all being on the app whilst using it in Ibiza. I stream it on my Mac no problem, but where the Sonos is in the house I hoped to just use it all easy in the app

Hi I had found this before posting and tried, however after adding TuneIn there is no option for ‘My radio stations’ so then no option for ‘add new radio station’. I’ve clicked everything I can see in the app and no tab at all for it. But thanks

Hi Castalla, I also found this prior to posting but not sure how I make that appear in the Sonos App? I can stream the station on my Mac no problem, but I was hoping it would just come up easily in the Sonos App like I had it running when in Ibiza

Add New Radio Station:

Tune in > My Radio Stations > Add New Radio Station > Add the url and give it a name - Ibiza Global

Brexit can be blamed for a helluva lot of miseries... But not guilty in this case!

Hi Castalla, I appreciate the help! As mentioned, this doesn’t work for me! I see no option in TuneIn for adding a radio station, I have added a screenshot, am I missing something? It gives me ‘Top Music stations’ - ‘Music stations’ but no ‘My radio stations’

ok I’ve sorted this now, it works via the old TuneIn (which said not supported, so didn't install it originally) not the new version! I now have this working

Cheers

Great!

TuneIn is a mess.

Sonos should add a new feature to enter a stream url separate from TuneIn.  It's too confusing for most people.

Hi I’m back with the same issue! It was playing for the past 6 months via the old version of TuneIn. Now it doesn’t appear to exist anywhere. Does anyone know how I can successfully play via the Sonos app ? Thanks

Ibiza global radio, finally working again directly from my favourites on Sonos (radio.net)

Can you get it to work at all on the Sonos App or just the URL? It still doesn’t show for me! Gutted

… using radio.net on Sonos app and IbizaGlobal Radio is on my Sonos favourites … after months of no luck finally works  seamlessly

can I be thick and ask how I get radio.net up on the app? I type it in and find nothing at all
