Just noticed another bug in the playlist function , iPad version 80.21.6  OS version 85.0-64200.

if you create a new playlist it will not appear in the favourites / playlist view (hence it’s unusable) until you close the app and restart it.

Hello @Editor, welcome back!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue where creating a new Sonos Playlist does not show immediately in the Sonos App.

I brought this up internally but we were unable to reproduce. Creating and editing Sonos Playlists had immediate action and showed without the need of a restart in the Sonos App.

What model of iPad are you using?

Make sure everything is up to date on your end and if you are able to consistently reproduce this, I would suggest you to submit diagnostics within 10 minutes of doing so and then contact our Support Team for some live troubleshooting.

I hope this helps.

Ditto here. Have to close/reopen the app first. iPad Pro 11-inch. iOS 18.5.

Also, if you delete a playlist, you must first close and then reopen the app in order for the deleted playlist to disappear from the list of playlists on the home page.

In addition, can you PLEASE add a “repeat on/off” setting in the create alarm window? You do have a “shuffle on/off” setting, but not a repeat setting. Several of my clients setup alarms with 12-hour durations so they can have music playing automatically all day. If a radio station is the music source, no problem. However, if a playlist is the source, then even if the alarm duration is 12 hours, the music will stop playing when the playlist runs out. By setting up a playlist alarm with repeat, that playlist will run all day.

Thank you.

Just found that this appears to be an intermittent bug as i created the same new playlist this am and it appeared without me closing and restarting the app.

The only difference I can recall is that this was my first action during this second test whilst in the earlier example I had been editing playlists and playing music from the queue before deleting a different playlist then creating a new playlist (which didn’t appear until I restarted the app).

odd behaviour indeed
